We don't do our taxes the same here but last thursday after a stressful week and a long drive home so my lovely fiance i had 3 letters from the revenue dept.

I was gonna not open them because the last time i had a letter it said i owed them $70,000 and i didn't fancy that as a start to valentines night.
Anyway i bit the bullet and opened it and i had a $3000 refund cheque because my accountant got smart about how he played my taxes woot!

So I filed my taxes last week and elected to have my refund directly deposited in my checking account (as I always do...). I was just checking my balance and such online and instead of deposting the $600 or so I was supposed to get back they've deposited 7,024 dollars!!!

oh, this is going to be a hassle to correct. lol I'm calling my bank first thing tomorrow to try to figure out what happened.

Just stay quiet and book a ticket to you know where

I was just checking my miles last night... I don't have enough for a full flight, but I DO have enough for 50% off and would still have quite a bit left over... hmmm
