Stymie

What do you wish you could change about yourself?

And I don't mean physically.

I've been doing a lot of soulsearching and there are two things I really wish I could get rid of: Holding grudges and being a bitch to people I don't like. I'm working on the second part, even though this ain't the place to be testing my patience. lol

But the first part eats at me and makes my online experience less pleasant.

What do you want to change?

It would be nice to be less judgmental of people I just meet but I don't know if that will ever change or even if it should.

I also wish that I didn't have an addictive personality. Whether it be food, or getting involved with the wrong type of person, etc.

And, of course, I wish I had a lot less insecurities.

I wish I could be more caring and less self-centered.

Plus I wish I wasn't so afraid of change.

And I wish I could fly.

ok, here's what I wish.....

You know that day when you learned to first ride your bicycle? Some kids are very excited and they hop right on? Some kids are scared and they do it with great hesitation, always looking back at their parents for encouragement and help? Some kids just cry and cry until they finally find themselves paddling the bikes, amazed that they can do it?

All the kids end up being able to ride the bikes of course, and having a blast doing it. They forget that they ever had problems learning after a few weeks or months.

Too many things are like that bicycle to me. Way too many things.

I still have temper flare ups every now and then, when people do stupid shit that effects me. I also tend to find it difficult to wish people well who've tried to dick me over in the past.

This is not to say I think I'm anywhere near perfect. lol More in that the older I get, the more comfortable I'm becoming with my imperfections.

I don't view these things as problems.
