Yesterday, I realized that I have a strength that I never knew existed in me (of course, it's not from myself alone that I developed this). I'm glad that I have the power to step back (after all the emotions die down) and take a good look at situations and realize that no matter what other people are and how they may try to change me or provoke me, I don't have to react. I feel sorry for them if they try to hurt me, because they don't realize that I am not trying to hurt them. And I still respect them. Their issues, they will have to resolve themselves. And alas, I have learned empathy as well.

Years ago I didn't have such traits but after years have passed with a lot of troubling problems, and being able to endure them, I can see that I have come a long way from what I used to be. It's not so easy because of the Samurai mentality that runs through the family, unfortunately, I have that mentality (which my grandfather at one time used being a gangster, then a martial arts expert).

I guess, that mentality can also be a good trait... keeps me moving forward.

I'm so sick of MySpace stalkers. When I don't respond to 3 messages they've sent me and have declined the 2 friend requests, it generally means I'm not interested. And if dude doesn't knock it off, I'm gonna put him on blast, bloggy style so that all my friends can go. I think it's time to start using my blocking option.
