Beauty for us is never without awareness.
"I feel good but do i REALLY look good? Is everything right?" etc That thought process is ingrained into our brains from when we are little and it never leaves. | |

For me feeling beautiful, gorgeous or breath-taking hasn't anything to do with being happy. I haven't felt happy for over half a year but I have felt beautiful several times durin that time period. Of course I have also felt totally ugly as well. . There are moments when I have put on cool clothes, done my hair and make-up and I look in the mirror and I am surprised and say to myself (not loud though ) "Wow, you look really good". So it's not about people looking at me or getting compliments. If that happens I enjoy it, but it doesn't make me "feel" beautiful. Sometimes I take it as an evidence that I still look okay, but when I have a day when I don't feel beautiful attention or compliments won't change that. And if I think I am beautiful when I look in the mirror non- attention won't change that either.With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! this thread got me to thinkin'.... how attractive do I really think I am? So, I went & took a good long look at myself in the mirror. And I have come to the conclusion that even though I honestly believe that I am not anything special, I still wouldn't kick myself outta bed for eatin' crackers. ...if I know what I mean.....  | |

I am a girl but just one of those plain Jane girls that tries to look decent before she goes out so she does not scare anyone. That is the best that I can hope for.  You are very beautiful. My guess is that you don't want too much attention. When many people look at you it can be irritating.
