Like your boss maybe or a co-worker who is not a pleasant person.

i'm getting used to the people i work with. i figured i might as well learn to tolerate my co-workers, since i spend 1/3 of my day with them, five times a week.

well, there's a difference between tolerating someone's annoying quirks and enduring a hostile work environment. if you feel unsafe or uncomfortable working with someone, you oughtta give HR a little heads-up.

I don't have a problem with anyone I work with, they on the other hand do have problems with each other

YES!!!!! My boss is an idiot. And kind of creepy too. The latest drama was after a staff meeting one of the sales guys dramatically quit and I (like a dumbass) when after him. He's the top sales guy at the firm I work at and I need him. Anyway, I pulled him into the stairwell and talked to him for about ten minutes trying to talk some sense into him. At one point I looked towards the stairs going down and there was our boss, eavesdropping. Freak!


I have two possible offers on the table.
This place is a soap opera. I am outta here!

The number of people I work with who are not nice people far outnumber those who are. I feel a knot in my stomach every morning when I turn the corner to my company and I dread Mondays to the point I feel sick to my stomach.

Let's see...the guy who sits next to me a) lied his way into his position with a phony resume, b) has displayed his incompetence and inability to do the job over and over, c) never works a full day or week if the boss is on vacation, d) claims to have a chronic illness so he can get additional time off without penalty, and e) spends most of his day making personal phone calls and talking baby talk on the phone with his kids.

I guess you could say I don't like him.

Oh - but he schmoozes everyone in site, which makes him appear pleasant. So I guess I should forgive all that other mess.

I dislike a lot of the people I work with...

The problem is this: I work hard, do a good job and always have a smile for ya.
These other people don't produce what I do, but are the biggest kiss-asses you've ever seen...
One bitch even smokes up before (prob during too) work...doobies, that is.

Old job: I hated my boss. He was an asshole who could stab you in the back while looking you square in the eye.

New job: only three other people and I am crazy about them.
