And I'll partake , definitely sounds like a cool idea...sounds a lot like something Herman came up with on one of Ocean's threads, when he said he would provide the poetry and I would provide the photos to accompany it. That never got off the ground, tho lol...

So do we get to pick our own "muse"? Can more than one person use the same poetry/article/whatever?

yeah so im aware in the grand scheme of things that while i do participate i'm sure whatever i post won't get used, so have fun everyone!

Here's mine:



I brought two home to fill my needs,
And lit the room with incense and candles,
I fucked a hole to watch it bleed,
And downed more bean than most can handle,

I slept with 2, and sometimes 3,
Just to find a warm safe place,
But once the month was over, see
The lust of life had drained from my goddamned face,

Six years, a tight rope torn asunder,
A girl so lost upon her meandering path,
Don’t touch me now, in this room ‘o gorgeous blunder,
You written on my soul, already, a stone cold epitaph,

And you can fuck this hole until it bleeds,
And make me search darkness I can’t see,
But god will punish us both in his jealousy and greed,
Cause he likes it when we’re on our goddamned knees!

it's harder than you think
to see the daisies through the fog
hoping that the joy and warmth
aren't too good to be true
screams from the other side
of frustration and misunderstanding
scare you - they don't understand the fog...
hell... neither do you
you see the daisies dying
you hear those voices grow faint
believing that their love for you is no longer there
all because of you
you've taught yourself to cry no more
tears born of the fog are useless
even more when they're not understood
you're alone and it's your fault
you didn't fight hard enough
for the moon that yearns beyond the fog
and yet you... are the sun
*irony*
the sun that could not melt the fog
that could not nurse the daisies
that could not make the moon shine with passion anymore...
...a burnt out star.

Like we did years ago,
let's dangle on chainlink webs
lean back and laugh
and wiggle our bare toes on the moon.
