Considering I'm adopted and was adopted through the State of California...I'm so happy for you  I'm tearing up, actually.
I pretty sure my mother is dead by now - she had cerebral palsy and I'm 32 now, but man, it'd be really something to at least know her name. [Edited 2/19/08 19:33pm] | |

im happy for you you know i gave a baby up 17 years ago  i want so badly to talk to her... i want her to know i think of her everyday and i have so much love inside for her

but, i fear that i wont get that opportunity... what if she doesnt want me? one more year hon and then put your info out there in case she is looking. I didn't put anything out until 2001 and it was mainly in search of siblings. I recently petitioned to have my medical records released and signed a consent to contact but like I said I really was expecting siblings. I never really considered that she would be actively looking for me. Don't worry about rejection before you even know anything,

you can find out if she is deceased, I wrote to the state of california for a release of medical records, its a start.
