Who is the person or persons who don't let you bs them? They put you in check and keep you honest.


My girlfriend Yo in NYC will always check me on my bs. She keeps me honest and true to myself.

The other person is actually Dex. He can see right through my bs and will call me out on it. Believe me, he has pissed me off but I do appreciate him. asshole.

Threadbare....he can ONLY speak the truth. Chris is an honest person and just lets me have it on some of my stuff. He was the person that helped me come to terms with having control issues.

My sister who is younger by 18 months. A lot of times I try to see the bright side of things to convince myself. she pulls the rug right out from under me. My boyfriend can do that to.

My two friends Eric and Carolyn. Both know incredibly deep parts of my life, and can be face-breakingly blunt with me (Rhonda, no matter how blunt you think I am, they have me beat by a country mile).

while I don't strictly BS to create a smokescreen or somesuch, I have a lot of crap that comes out when I'm (not) dealing with my emotions. Nobody keeps that in check

I am usually the bullshit killer. I can be very blunt: most people don't like it.

My older brothers. They tell it like it is, and don't care if you like it or not. Truthfully though, I wish I could be more like that. I tend to be overly nice because I don't want to hurt someone's feelings. Gotta work on that, seriously.

The only person who called me on my bullshit was an ex...but he was also a manic depressive, abusive and incredibly aggressive nutjob.

My older sister calls me out from time to time, she always wants the best for me even if I don't. It sometimes prevents me from telling her too much

Most recently even here, I've met a few honest and genuine people here, one that is starting to sound just like my best friend, they seem to suffer from having control issues as well
