This has been the longest, coldest, snowiest winter since I was a child.

But yes, I'm giving in to the winter blues. I was trying to fight it all winter. I'm done trying to fight it. I plan to hibernate from now through spring. Which is apparently never coming.

Dang that's cold. It was warm here yesterday but raining. Today it's back to freezing. Only a few more months till it warms up enough and regularly to notice.

I actually just went to visit Karen in LA. It was 80 when I was there. But apparently my long weekend wasn't enough.

I'm so sorry, you guys. Honestly, I love the cold, but could never live somewhere which halts my activities for such a huge chunk of the year. It would seriously do awful things to my mental health.

Both of you need to come out here and we can rent a cute flat overlooking the SF Bay.

It was almost 60 here on Sunday and now its 9 degrees.

We set a snowfall record here this year. (And it's only February. It usually snows into April.) And we're going to get that same cold wave, too.

I am so tired of doing a 40-mile commute (each way) in white knuckle conditions every day that I could just scream.
