man, go on in walmart--they sell the dvd for $5.50 everyday. i just watched it today--it is still very good. although, for a PG movie, there are more than a few bare ass shots of JEJ, the daughter's boobs are on display, a quick pan of diahann's boobs in the bathtub, free-flowing use of the n-bomb and a good amount of profanity--this would definitely be rated R today...but that curtis mayfield/gladys knight soundtrack....  on and on  | |

I never thought Diahann Carroll would pull this off, but she did with flying colors. Classic movie. Damn shame she wasn't nominated for an Oscar. | |
