It was one day last week during a time of prayer and fasting. The tears came when I was made aware of and released my fears centered on my 6-month-old son. At the time the song in my signature was playing, I was holding my son so tightly and literally sobbing my prayers to God. All the while, my little son was looking at me and God’s compassion was there in his expression. With his big bright eyes my son was telling me, “Hey, Pop, it will be alright.”

That or he was thinking, “Dear God, when is Mommy coming home?”

Ok, the last time I cried was tonight after watching the news and seeing the story about the US beef scandal and seeing footage of the cows being beaten, tortured and horribly crippled from abuse. I also felt instantly ill and those images are going to be bothering me for a long time.

It was about 30 mins ago. I just came home from my aunt's wake and I guess all of the emotion from the evening and the last few days just caught up to me. I'm still sad now but I know where my aunt is and I'm at peace with that.

like an hour ago. pretty much constantly the past two days because my future's so insecure.

A week ago... I fell from a balcony and broke my left arm... Never had such a pain...
Tho' I was lucky cuz I'm a righty and it could have been way much worse!

I cried last week, but it was the first time in awhile.

Right now, it's every couple of weeks. It's slowed down some. I was kind of giving myself a re-birth and a cleansing through tears for a couple months. I'm sure it'll come around again pretty soon, but for now, I have nothing to cry about. I'm done with it for right now.

It's not actually crying, but whenever I see touching father and son moments, I feel like I am going to cry. My relationship with my father and my son are good. I think I am extremely aware of the importance of being a good father that I get emotional. Plus, I do miss the days when I was younger.

Yesterday while watching 'The Color Purple'. I started when Shug started walking to the church and singing along with the choir and didn't really stop until the end credits.
