I'm a little bummed they got rid of white. When I heard they were doing silver, I was like "Ooh, space age!"

But then when I saw the real thing, it looked cheap to me.

The black is fucking gorgeous though. So slick. I like how it's kinda a matte finish.

i was originally gonna get the 80 gig, but i had the fundage for the 160 and decided if i was gonna do it, i might as well do it up right.

i can't believe i'm an iPod whore now, after years of being all "buy creative labs instead!" - but whatever, i was tired of not being able to get cool speaker dock thingies and whatnot. now i can pimp my pod.

well, ya know, you can download cover art when you download albums onto an iPod, and they have a feature where you can just flip through all your album covers and pick out your music that way. it's the cutest thing ever, it makes me weep.

On the touch one, the entire front is screen, and you scroll and click around with your finger on the face. I think. I've only glimpsed them.

The standard one is just like the one you've got, but more storage. And slimmer design.

i got one today that i am hoping i'll be very happy with - it's portable with a 15-hour rechargeable battery and a storage compartment built in for your iPod and earphones for when you're not using it or charging it. the demo at the store sounded really nice, but then again i'm not the most discerning stereophile in the world

that's the one i'm going with too, when i replace mine. considering i use it primarily at my job, and my job requires me to have grimy fingers most of the time, i can only imagine how quickly the touch screen would be completely fucked up to the point where i wouldn't even be able to read what it's displaying.
