Past Lives / Dreams

I have been reading heavily on this book called Guide to the Other Side by Sylvia Brown a couple months ago.

One chapter I found very interesting was about how to connect with our past lives. There is a passgae about what to do and how we all can tap into our spirit and our spirit guides within.

WEll one night I did this practice and had the oddest stragest dream I will never forget.

I was working at my old bank and I was approached by a man who wanted to do a transaction. While running his check he said, "Can I look at your arm?" I said yes and rolled up my sleeve. I had 3 or 4 different tattos going across in all different ways overlapping eachother..however I saw them illuminated by different lights. One was some type of Asian writing going down. Another was Aztec symbols running across my shoulder. However he pointed and said, "You were part of the AFRICAN AMBUSH!" And he started to cry..and I cried too. When I woke up I had tears in my eyes.

I really believed that night I tapped in2 something special. Any1 ever had experiences like this?

MIGUELGOMEZ

I haven't but I believe in past lives, either through genetic memory or actual reincarnation.

I think you should dig even deeper to see what you can come up with. It sounds exciting. I sometimes think that current phobias or love for certain things are contributed by past lives. I think that is why we have child prodigys.

I know that in past lives I was with several of the people that I'm close to now. I've had both lucid dreams and real life experiences.
I've done a lot reearch into my family history and have found some really wierd things that have no other explanation.

I agree with Miguel that phobias can stem from past lives. I hate having anything tight around my neck and I hate swimming in deep water. I have had lucid dreams of both hanging and drowning in the past. My niece has the exact same memories right down to the details,.

I know someone who went looking for family gravestones in old cemetaries and found his and his wife's name on 3 different graves from different eras. They do have a common ethnic background so it could mean something. Or maybe not, but they think so.

I agree with you guys!

I have been having terrible phobias of being hit by a car and having my legs bend backwars. I can feel it in my knees everytime I cross the street. Or dying in a car.

She said in the book that those do play stong roles in past lives

All of the Gordon Smith books are good, hes got about 4 or 5, go onto his website. John Holland has a book called 'Born Knowing' which I found really interesting and you might to as you're into Sylvia Brown. smile
