I used to keep a lot of things....everything from letters to panties....pix in all manner of dress (and undress)...I had good times with everyone I've been with, so the mementos would remind me of good times....

...then again, if times were so good, then they wouldn't be an ex, now would they? hmmm Seriously though, you reach a point where the past goes up on the shelf in an attic somewhere in the corners of your mind....

Eww, that sounds really creepy. confused

Not creepy at all.

I still have the lighter you gave me from our first trip to Amsterdam. You probably don't even remember that you gave it to me, it was completely a practical thing. But I've still got it packed away.

This is me, too nod...I doubt I could even obliterate every aspect of someone I loved and was once involved with. I can heal and move on without needing to do that.

The mementos I kept may be tucked away with other boxes, but I know they're there, and that's enough.

I kept the bear that my first girlfriend in high school gave me for Valentines Day. I have a few love letters from old flames that I keep locked away, and a few mixtapes.

I'm pretty sure I have it all and will always keep it all. What goes wrong in relationships doesn't negate the good times and memories and the feelings of love that are associated with mementos. Sure, it can be hard, but so what?

I have snapshots and a gig poster I designed that featured an ex. I kept the poster 'cause it's one of the few creative things I've done where I can look at it and say, "You know what? I wouldn't change a thing." IOW: I'm proud of it.

I kept all the nudie pics. Nothing wrong with a little leverage, especially if you date crazy chicks as I tend to do.
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.
