I had a flat after hitting a pot hole a couple weeks ago and they replaced the entire tire for nothing including no charge for the labor.

Two tires can take three or four seconds less than four tires, which might mean moving up several places as you exit the pits. You could even take the lead, but you'd have to hope you could hold off the guys with four new tires.
