For real? Shaq's spent. Just Marion would've been enough. Too much, in fact.

phoenix just bought a ticket to a least the conference finals. in the west, you HAVE to have a big post up guy in the paint. shaq's not super-dominant anymore, but he is still a force to be reckoned with. getting rid of a locker room cancer like marion is just a bonus. miami is gonna regret this for years to come. look how the lakers struggled since he left.

Shaq still has one more run in him. He will be energized and be a completely different player for the Suns.

great .... just what we needed is an ex lakers he has to pass his physical first for the deal to go through... its gonna be kinda weird to see him and Nash play together If U don't know someone with Autism....... U will...... April is Autism awareness month.... please get involved....

hey it can work...when the baltimore ravens picked up ex-steeler and aging rod woodson, it seemed like a match made it hell. all he did was help us win SBXXXV. sometimes you need somebody who has been to the big game and won to show you the way.

Suns figured they had to do something, because of LA signing Gasol. I think Shaq's done, but we'll see.

These playoffs are going to be sick! And imagine Portland next season with a healthy Oden?

When did this happen??? I thought there was a huge multi-team swap where Kidd landed with the Mavs. Was that just a rumor? Or am I confused? I was out of the loop last week, sorry if I messed it up. If Kidd is still with the Nets, how much longer will he stay there?

It was a possible 3way trade involving the Mavs, Nets & Blazers. Devin Harris to the Blazers and Jerry Stackhouse and others to the Nets, along with several players from the Blazers going to the Nets....all of this just for Kidd in return.

All the Suns need is 8 or 10 great games from Shaq in the playoffs. If they get that, PHX has a shot at it all. And their time is now. Nash isn't getting younger and the Blazers, Hornets, Mavs and yes Lakers are getting younger and better. Try to get the last miles out of the Diesel. Ok, off topic a bit, but Joe Johnson an all-star? Anybody else think that if a Hawk deserved to be there it should've been Josh Smith? The guy's a monster, and still only 22. We just beat the Lakers and Smith had 17 points, 9 rebounds, 9 assists, 5 blocks and 2 steals. It's not even unusual for him. The other night against the Sixers he had 19 points, 9 assists, 9 blocks (!!!), 6 rebounds and 4 steals. That's really filling up the box score!
Maybe next year. Probably won't even get defensive player of the year honours as they'll give it to Camby, but Smith is second in blocks and top ten in steals. Nobody else is close to what he's doing defensively. . [Edited 2/6/08 20:44pm]
