I'm in grad school and just took my mid-term online...it was fucking multiple choice, I had 4 hours to take it which I used 3 of them, with only fucking 23 questions (why the fuck wasn't it even) and we could use our book and I still only got 14 right!!!

Why the fuck do I never do good with open book tests??!!!

God I hate fucking school!!!!

last quarter I knew I had to do a paper but I didn't know it had to be between 10-15 pages, and i didn't find that out until two weeks left in the course (it was an online course)!!! So I did what I had to do, I stayed up until 3 and 4am working on and finishing the paper because I had to have a lot of references as well. That was a tough week, but I ended up with 14 pages and an A out of the class.

Don't know how i'm gonna slide by this class i'm in now with failing the midterm. Maybe I should ask her if she will offer extra credit???

well thanks for the support. that's how its always been for me with school, i just do terrible with tests. However, i have a way higher GPA in grad school (3.7) than I did in undergraduate. I only have 4 more classes to complete...well this is the story of this quarter. I started off with two online classes (why the hell did I do that) then I inquired about buying a townhouse (which was one of my goals to complete in '08 and I have!!!) but then the second class I had, the teacher was rediculous with how much work needed to be turned in on a weekly basis, so I dropped the class. Now I just have this one and by the time I realized I had some extra time to put into the class it was mid-term week and here we are today.

Its no excuse really for the bad grade, but right now, after 1 year and a half being in grad school after spending 4 and a half getting my undergrad degree, i'm a bit burned out.

I feel you on this one.

There have been many times in vet school where I had studied my ass off only to either fail or get a grade that is far lower than what I deserved. Multiple choioce tests suck and don't always test knowledge, the important thing is that you know and understand the material.

school really does suck sometimes.

I need to go back to school, actually.

I miss my school days, if I knew how miserable I was going to be after grad, I would have enjoyed them even more than I did, though I had a pretty good time at university. I'm back in school now, but it's only once a week and doesn't feel the same as before. Assignments freak me out so much.
