the EAGLES need to reassert their position in the NFC

whip up on the Bucs (as they usually do at home) this Sunday..

this is now the biggest game of the season for the Eagles.

CHARGERS when they play the Raiders..
I was a HUGE Charger fan back during the "Air Coryell" days with Dan Fouts, KELLEN WINSLOW, Charlie Joiner et al..
& I used to HATE the Raiders..
but now that the Raiders have Jerry Rice, it's really hard for me to root

the Raiders,
as Jerry Rice is
THE GREATEST WIDE RECEIVER OF ALL TIME..
I have so much respect for him & his accomplishments & his unbelievable work ethic..
it's no wonder he's the greatest wide receiver ever.

The Chargers NEVER had a defense to stop anybody. Their defense during that time has never been equal to any Super Bowl winner. They were all offense, no defense. Even the Rams of the last few years have had a better defense than the Chargers had back in the early 80s, and the Rams have only won 1 championship. Parity doesn't discount defenseless teams, and defense still wins championships. Fouts, Winslow and company would tell you the same thing.
