I always looked at St. Valentine's as a day more for giving love than recieving it.
So, every year, I usually just get a hooker.
The look of brief, disquieting surprise on her normally drug-induced indifferentiated expressioned face when she's 1st sees the words "BE MINE" that I've written with red & black Sharpies© on my heart-shaped ass is the only "box of chocolates" I ever need for that holiday.

I think I'll be 90 and still on the dance floor. There used to be a club called UNIVERSE in San Francisco in the 90's. It was a gay dance club but there was a straight couple that were 70 years old. They would go every week. They were so sweet. Everyone loved them.

My husband and I have never celebrated Valentine's Day. WE do how ever celebrate Feb 13th because it the anniversary of our first date. Which this year will mark 21 years damn we are old

There are other, more important dates in the year where one can show their love. For example, birthdays, anniversaries and mothers/fathers day.

I have a Valentine, my Husband My problem is with it falling on a weeknight/worknight/schoolday it is really hard to go out and celebrate proper. We'll go out for a nice dinner, then home to bed.
