Yea i'll be "alone" but it's going to be a full day
art class for 5 hours (  )
then a debate somewhere on campus about race and interracial relationships (should be interesting) THEN have a "singles awareness day" ice cream cake with my friends (it's a tradition) then an art show at night downtown and THEN i get to pack (a bowl, and a suitcase) get  and then get ready to go home and see my family the next day

On A serious note...I really dont see the point in Valentines Day. I mean its great and all, if thats what ure into, and yes Hubby does get me gifts, but I dont see it as that Big A Deal.
Dont let Valentines Day make u feel lonely. Its really all about the candy anyway

Why people get all hung up on so called Holidays... I just don't know. All days matter, truly. 
When I was married... I dreaded the holidays, the stresses that a calendar date dictates what you do for others, especially the so called Valentine's Day. To me, it's just another day I had to present physical affection that I just did not feel.  Horrible sounding I know... but really, everyday should matter, if for yourself or with another.
A day, is a day... is a day... So celebrate life, each day.  | |

The best Valentine's Days I've ever had were not on Valentine's day but on any regular day. I don't dwell on holidays like that (but I do love Christmas and Thanksgiving), hell I don't make a biggie outta my birthday either. If you must go and do something on V-Day, go out to dinner with some friends and have champagne or have a little get together at home. those are nice. | |
