Kirsten Dunst Enters Rehab MTV.com 2/7/08 Spider-Man" actress Kirsten Dunst has reportedly checked herself into rehab at the Cirque Lodge Clinic in Sundance, Utah, sources have told Entertainment Tonight and People.com. Although it is unknown at the present time why the 25-year-old New Jersey native decided to visit the facility, her admission into the clinic follows what many have called a week of heavy partying at the Sundance Film Festival in nearby Park City. "She was in a big group of friends and they were dancing their a--es off by their table," a source reportedly told People at the time. "They looked like they were having a great time and they were getting pretty crazy." However, the following day Dunst failed show up to her own Glamour magazine party. According to a report,Dunst was in tears and acting erratically when she reached the Lodge. "She seemed to be intoxicated when she checked in because she was acting really erratic. She was extremely emotional, constantly breaking down in tears," an unnamed source told the gossip mag. "Thankfully, she's getting the help she needs." Only 12 when she made her Hollywood breakthrough in the Tom Cruise/ Brad Pitt thriller "Interview With a Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles," Dunst rocketed to fame in recent years as the red-headed Mary-Jane Watson, erstwhile neighbor and eventual fiancée to Peter Parker, in the "Spider-Man" films. Dunst is currently filming "How to Lose Friends & Alienate People" alongside Megan Fox and Simon Pegg. Based on the memoirs of British writer Toby Young, the film chronicles his life in America working for Vanity Fair. Dunst is the third high-profile celebrity to book a stay at the Utah clinic in recent months, following Eva Mendes and Lindsay Lohan. It's too bad that the majority of non famous people who have the same problems (which is A LOT) never go for help.

That's a drag man. I used to think Kirsten was real cute. I actually had a big crush on her (redhead in spider-man ) but she lost hot points on this one. Damn shame Maybe we can go to the movies and cry together

At least in this country help is definitely there if you want it. Free help. I can't even begin to tell you how many people I know that party a little too hard and just think it's normal. Maybe it is somewhat normal to go through a stage like that...as long as it's just a stage and doesn't become a permanent lifestyle. I dunno...Even though I've always been a drinker, I used to be so intolerant of drug use but man, have my opinions on that changed in the last few years.
