ok. never. We are all different and have different ways of seeing things.

OK wait, did your signature come before or after this thread? lol That would be a might big coincidence smile And seriously, I just wanted to explore the issue deeper. That is all.

I am good but not that good. Just inspired me to look up and read some quotes that I believe in. It is all about feeding the soul and growing.

Reel your neck in Richard. And do me a favour and at least spell the name of the one you care for so much correctly. rolleyes
Just because YOU have chosen to do that does that mean that everyone has? Or do some people choose to be different?

I wonder rolleyes You don't have the monopoly on thinking about what is best for self mate.
Treat Valory with some dignity and when she says something accept it. So yes i will stand up for her when you don't treat her with respect and dignity.

Are you kidding me? How the hell was I disrespectful. I was asking a serious question about the topic at hand because I know she will answer honestly. What the hell is gotten into people? And really, because there is an extra "L" means something? It's called habit.

I am the one sat here with her, i am the one seeing her reaction, if you read the rest of the thread you are the 3rd person to do that to her, question her motive so yes i think its disrespectful to do so. You just got last in line, if you look above i was also pretty short with JD for the same.
I know you don't give a shit how i feel or react but you claim to do so for Valory so perhaps questioning her motive when, if you actually knew anything about the way she thinks or is, she is one of the most deep thinking people around might just flicker a thought in your head of .....maybe she has thought about it.

I dunno just spit balling with ya bro.

Well it isn't like I am a complete stranger to her Phil confused I wasn't questioning her motives at all and if it came off that way, then it's my fault for not being so eloquent with my post. I like bouncing shit off her because believe it or not, I have learned a thing or 2 from the woman.

Well you don't need to rescue her because she is more than capable of holding her own! lol Besides, the reason I didn't ask predom or violator (no offense guys) is because they are guys and men really have no idea what they feel or why lol Women are simply more evolved is all smile

If I didn't do the things I have done, I may be in a worse off place today than I am. OR not. How can I regret things when I truly have NFI about the outcome of those untried paths?

I regret many, many things, especially most of the last 4 years now that I'm getting my heart and my soul and my mind and life together in very meaningful ways. I really can't believe what I was and let myself be. I regret so much that it's painful, sometimes. But it also gives me strength and a remdinder of who I really am, who I want to be, what I need to get there, and how to make everything I want in life happen for me and for those around me.

I do not regret anything that I have done in my life. There are a few regrets about things that I have not done but there is still time.
It's all good!

You've just contradicted yourself which is my original point. I don't believe people who say that they don't regret anything.

you have just misread the post, she actually claims to have regrets, but does not regret anything that she has done.
but simply opportunities she has missed or not taken. it's a very powerful and true statment..

i believe living in regret is counterproductive, everything we experience in life should be a valuable lesson, one that shapes who and what we are...

i have no regrets, about my past and my actions, to do so ultimately means we have very little love for who and what we are..
are you ready for submission

For the record, here are the things I regret doing (or not doing)

1. Passing on a 1970 3-fender-tag convertible 'Cuda that is now worth 15 times what I could have bought it for
2. Selling stock and not using the proceeds as I planned
3. Wasting too much time

trust me, money the making and spending of is the last thing one should ever regret, its easy come and easy go, that is the nature of the green..

as for time, maybe you were in limbo, taking a time out, its all about perceptions and the way we choose to see things..

well that depends on how you look at it, i intended it as a primary jibe at phil
for adding to some org drama, and secondly i intended it as a jibe at those others involved.

aside you actually as i replied to you separately, because i believe you misread the post

I was inspired to look up more quotes about regret.
This one struck me because it is true, for me at least. I can only speak for myself and the person who wrote this quote:

“I would much rather have regrets about not doing what people said, than regretting not doing what my heart led me to and wondering what life had been like if I'd just been myself.” Brittany Renée

That's a wise quote although I don't know if it applies in all cases. And it's not easy to be ourselves, but we already know that, dont we hug wink .
With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! And if, then I hope that I would then have wen in my environment who joins me in the A....

Indeed we do my friend but I think in time we will realise that there is nothing better than being ourselves.
We just struggle to see that some days but that is life I think.
