Until the last few years of my life, I lived with a lot of regret. I hate that feeling and now really go for what I want and try to be open about my desires, feelings and needs. If I at least put it out there and try, I cannot regret not trying. That makes all the difference really

There are some things that I have not allowed myself to regret, not because I actually don't or wouldn't feel regret but that the regret would be so huge and overwhelming to me that I just can't even open that door. That isn't the same as having no regrets though.
