You guys have no idea what you are talking about. The biggest WTF movie of all time is Matthew Barney/Bjork Drawing Restraint 9. That still has my scratching my heard over 2 years later.

basically films where the asshole gets away with his doing. (can't help it)

Mystic River
Arlington rd.
French Connection (though it's a consolation the real character got caught)

i still loved the last two though, esp. FC.

Mystic River was aired on tv here in Finland last weekend. Unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to see it all the way through, had to wake up early for work. So, is the dude who got raped as a child really the killer, or was it someone else?
If you don't want to publicly spoil it, orgnote me lol

Speaking of those movies:

Anything Will Ferrell stars in
Any comedy Billy Bob is in
That Mclovin bs
Jackass
Anything Steve Carrell is in
Anything with that sort of "humor"

The Cook The Thief His Wife & Her Lover--Good movie, but why so fucking gross? This was the most unpleasant movie I've ever seen, I think, except maybe:

The Tin Drum--see above. Horse heads & eels, mmmm, underage sex scenes, mmmm. Great movie anyway confuse

The Unbearable Lengthness of Film

Forrest Gump--Did this movie have any point? I never actually saw the end.

oh, and Pan's Labyrinth was another recent wtf movie for me.

I don't think I liked it. Or maybe I did. I don't know any more now than I did when I watched. wtf.

nod Pan's Labyrinth confused me. I wasn't sure how I was supposed to feel about it

Eyes Wide Shut had no point at all

I can understand the confusion about how to feel at the end of Pan's Labyrinth. I found it to be extremely tragic. I like that.

The point of Eyes Wide Shut was to show how too much honesty, especially concerning secret desires, can damage a relationship. To me it was a fascinating film.

I believe I told you it's about a whale-hunting ship that wants to change it's bad karma by inviting poeple on board to trnasform themselves into whales and replenish the ocean. The Vaseline sculpture subplot was a separate contract for the ship by Matthew Barney. Okay, I made that last part up. lol

Drawing Restraint 9 movie made more sense to me than No Country For Old Men.

2nd runner up: Anatomy Of Hell...it was so "wtf" that it angered me that I watched it.

3rd runner up: Eraserhead...but I love the movie for its "wtf"-ness.

I don't really see Requiem as a 'wtf?' movie. It's just a depressing tale about how drugs can shatter your aspirations.

I agree Gummo is 'wtf?'.
