I took Kelly to see Bryan Adams last year for a birthday present surprise....anyway when I was texting people to say where we were the predictive text typed ASLAN BEAM instead of Bryan Adams, so people thought we'd gone to see ASLAN BEAM in concert.

I had it on email years ago, and I had a client called Doug Boone, and it kept trying to change it to Dog Bone mad

Calm down, I'm 17 and I don't know any teens who do this.

Actually most of the teens I know hate all the bad grammar and spelling of this generation.

So true.

The amount of "OUR TEENS ARE DOOMED!" articles I read in the newspaper are hilarious.

Older people need to calm the hell down, our heads aren't gonna explode from having an iPod and some slang words they didn't have giggle

yay! at the number of people who also do not understand how to use predictive text. It doesn't seem very predictive any time I've tried to use it--I thought maybe I was just stupid, but obviously I'm not since a lot of you don't get it either. biggrin

I don't even know how they'd determine it, like as if a teen would go to some survey called "ARE YOU SPEAKING THE WAY YOUR PHONE SAYS TO?" like who would wanna go to that?

lol

I think they ask creative kids sometimes who make stuff up, like

"all the kids are starting to wear suspenders but they go under your crotch now instead of over you shoulders"

"girls are starting to do sexual favors for_____"

"Texting is out, kids are using bongs to send smoke signals"

"forget syrup, the new high is a 'suberbad' cocktail with laundry detergent & bleach in it!"
