I just finally passed my driving test!

It took me 4 goes (its different in the UK, ok, before anyone from the USA gives me a hard time!) and two driving instructors told me that it wasn't anything to do with my ability, that was fine, it was my nerves of the exam. They told me to go to the docs for a very short low-dose course of beta blockers before the next test. I did, and it totally worked.

Anyway, I remembered that a while ago someone posted on here saying they failed again because of nerves and that they were feeling really crap about it. I can't find the thread and I wanted to pass on this message:

They tried to ban me and predom from a bus in Edmonton once.....it was way funny. The bus driver just switched the engine off and sat there and i ended up having an argument with some chav! It was quality. One of the funniest things ever.

And I *have* to pass, the pressure is on!! My work are paying for my lessons and that amounts to £1200 so far, including the intensive course they are putting me on a few days before the test!! Then the car is waiting for me when I'm done..... I HAVE to pass

I have had enough lessons now, or rather I will have had by the test, to know what I'm doing, its just the stupid mistakes that I could make that are worrying me, if I fail it'll be because of something stupid! We have a family car, it's an Audi A4 estate family wagon jobby. It's a bit scary and huge but I will get used to it. I won't have it most days coz hubby works and needs it. Maybe we will be able to afford a little run around for me in a few months but it's so expensive to run cars isn't it!

Wow an A4, that is huge I know what you mean it is so expensive, I am fortunate enough not to have to worry about it but thats the only reason I haven't learnt before now! Don't know what car I will get, maybe a Golf or a Fiesta But I am not picky at the moment I am just glad to be getting one!
