February 4, 2008 -- A Dutch student caught on hidden cameras says Natalee Holloway died suddenly after having sex with him on a beach in Aruba and a pal dumped her body at sea.

Without warning, the Alabama teen "started shaking and didn't move anymore," Joran van der Sloot says in an interview broadcast on Dutch television last night.

Van der Sloot says he panicked and tried but failed to revive the body. Then he called a friend with a boat.

"I went to a phone booth and called this friend. He went into the sea and dumped her," he says.

"I know what happened to her. She is dead, of course," Van der Sloot continues, adding, "I would never kill a girl.

"I was lucky. The ocean is big enough. I think I'll never get caught for this. If you go farther than two kilometers, she'll never be found," he adds, according to a translation of the broadcast on the Radio Netherlands Web site.

The student's admissions were recorded last month in a Range Rover rigged with three hidden cameras by Peter de Vries, a Dutch TV crime reporter.

Van der Sloot believed he was talking to a friend, Patrick van der Eem, but his "friend" was working undercover for de Vries.

On the basis of what the crime reporter turned up, the Aruban prosecutor, Hans Mos, has reopened the case of Holloway's disappearance.

Holloway, 17, vanished on May 30, 2005, after a night of partying during a high-school graduation trip.

She was last seen outside a bar with Van der Sloot, then also 17, who is from the Netherlands, and two Aruban brothers.

The three have been arrested twice and released.
