Why does it matter if they were real or not, years after they died? As long as you know about what they stood for and why they are still known. It's like Jesus - obviously, the guy didn't actually rise from the dead,  it's a teeny weeny bit exaggerated and that, but it is very important we remember his lifestyle tips.(goes into salman rushdie style hiding for ten years  ) | |
