I hate change but I've gotten to the point where I can deal with change well.

Usually what happens in a change is made in my life, either one that I have control over or not, and for a short time after that my life has a certain emptiness to it. Then, after a while, I embrace the change and, depending on what kind of change it was, find something new to replace what was lost or love whatever new thing I had to change to.

So yes...I believe that you must give a way the old and let yourself be empty for awhile so that you can find something new and (hopefully) better.

I need to get better about dealing w/ change, I don't handle it well confused I get very sentimental & emotional. I think too much about things that get buried/lost forever when change happens, & how often people forget. How something so wonderful can morph into dust down the road. It's trippy for me, I hope I won't always feel that way about it. Change is good, I know it deep down. But I constantly resist it...

question
