I was just sayin to a friend (an orger obviously) about how much i've grown to love this place...


I was googling prince my freshman year in college one night (i think) and low and behold...


who knew i'd find so many nuts who could relate to my freaky ass...


it's like we're all sitting around a fire singing "Jack U Off"




half of ya'll feel like brothers and sisters to me....even if we've never "spoke"...

I remember first being here like "why dont anybody respond to me?"...and "how the hell are they doin that qout thing??"

(yeah i was slow)

and "Who the fuck is langblu? He/she is like a supercomputer or something...lol"

...well actually i still feel that way....


so anyway, what's ya'll story (since I'm feelin all )

fuck, i wish that day never happened.. I wanted to get away from my ebay obsession, yeah sure this place cured that..

I lurked and red prince related news, never bothering to enter the threads for years.


Then in 2003-2004sh (I can't remember now), bananacologne started a Prince photoshop thread, and I was so tickled by it, that I signed up so I could post images on it. Stayed mostly in M&M for about 6 months, then moved over to GD after that. I've PWNed the shit out of this place since.

My friend David from Belgium told me about this place, I had actually met him on some other Prince website. I just lurked for years upon years, reading about Prince and his music etc...then this past summer I came across a photowhore thread in GD started by Jess, and since then, I have been hooked!

grew up obsessed with prince, and it seemed like the best prince website initially (i can't stand housequake), but then started posting in earnest when i realised it had the best, most diverse community on the net, hands down. Prince or no Prince. steered well clear of GD initially with its cliquey-ness, but slowly got used to it, and now i like it, alot.

a year ago, doing a search of prince to find out about the halftime show, and this came up...sometimes i wish that would never happened

Though I think it's a little bit cliquey now, I never felt it was when I was a newbie. Everyone was always cracking me up and we all had a good time. I think we started doing yahoo chats the second week I was posting in the GD forum.

So many good laughs.
