Here's my thing. I hate hate hate being an inconvenience to anyone. I wanted to drive to London and catch some sites and hopefully get to see you! I also wanted to visit Ellie and Jon for lunch or dinner.

And this time. I have to go dancing somewhere. If anyone knows of a good place. It doesn't have to be gay. I love Soulful house music.(I'm very picky about it, since they call everything house these days) I'm trying to find out where AARON ROSS spins. I love his style of music. I wish LAZY DOG was still around! Waaaaa!!!

Lemme do some homework.. nod will get back to you.. hug

Aaron Ross rarely does residencies any more - he's too big!! You might get lucky and catch him at one of the big clubs but I am way out of touch to pull any strings anymore. So it will be an early in or a LONNNNNG queue!

You can rent an automatic and the switch of road sides isn't as hard as you imagine. It's small roads mental Londoners that you should worry about. I reccomend just driving round and round Heathrow for a couple of days and then taking the car back, you will be fine.

Looking forward to saying hi again and sinking a few beers. I can look into the club thing if you like and if I get a pass out, maybe we could take in a mellow club for a few hours. cool

That would be awesome!!! I'll bring you some chocolate just in case. lol

Don't get me wrong, I'm a walker it's just that there are some people that I'd like to see that are 30 - 40 miles away from London.

I saw him in San Jose, where I live, I think last year. He was sooo nice. His set was amazing.

Thanks mate. I guess he is blowing up over there. Great for him! How is MINISTRY OF SOUND? I know that it gets too progressive and circuity. I'm really not into that. It's gotta be funky. Does Ben Watt still have a residency somewhere? I like him too. He can get too deep and that kind of house music can bore me.

Yeah, it's about 400 miles. It's like from where I live to Karen's (Muse) house. The reason I wanted to drive was because I wanted to take in all the sites. I'm obsessesed by architecture, little towns and country side. Am I a nob?

In that case I'll take my Nike Shox. I can run in them. The only thing is that I'll be a very sweaty, stiky guy when I get to my destination.

Ministry is mental, I have only been a few (2) times as I recal and they vary the sound depending on the nights, as I say it would just be luck if he happened to be playing. Best thing would be to look into the big clubs closer to the time and see who's booked. Fabric and the Limelight may also be a good bet.

Not at all, thats great, you could plan a great route up north and take in loads of places.

Here is my plan. I'm going to be there, GOD willing, June 6th, Friday. I plan to go stay with Phil and Val (amazing) until probably that Wednesday. I will be going to Amsterdam after that (by train), then returning on the 15th? (I think). I'm flying home from London.

Between the time I get to England and I leave for Amsterdam, I want to run around, have a visit with some folks and hopefully go to Edinburough. I know I'm cramming a lot in but oh well.

Hmmmm. I enjoy the Fabric Cd's. Fabric was right next door to that pub we all met at one night in 2006. That's the night I got lost and spent 2 hours looking for the place. The pub was a block away from the tube. I made a 2 hour trek, in a circle, before finding the place. I did that a lot in London. lol

As soon as I get it together I'll let you know what my final plans are. I sooo appreciate all your input.

You might want to save up your energy 'cause Muse will be there a week after I get there.

actually, the one thing that is tricky are roundabouts.....so easy to fuck up there....

They actually have a few roundabouts in the city I live here in the USA (but there are not multi-laned like in other countries). And they fuck me up every time. They have a bunch of them in Mexico where I have done a lot of driving.

I kind of close my eyes and go...and hope I don't get stuck in one of those damn things going around in circles forever.... lol

I remember the first club we went to. I think it was the first night we all met. It had a restaurant in the front. Well, I had a blast just talking to everyone. I didn't realized, until I went to the bathroom, that there were 3 floors of dancing underneath us.

It's on Val!!!! Woo hoo!!.

To be honest I can have fun at a funeral. Really. So wherever I go I know I'm going to have a blast. The wonderful people that I get to see again or meet for the first time, is the icing on the cake.
