2002 In honor of my post #2002 I want everyone to reflect on the year you've had. What were the highlights? What were some of your struggles? What do you hope to accomplish before the year's over? What are your hopes and plans for next year?
Personally, I had a great year. One of the best of my life. Living with my brother, falling in love, making many new friends and just an overall turnaround in my outlook were some of the highlights. I got to do a lot of travel- New York to see David Bowie and Chocolate, MPLS for the Celebration, Toronto, Chicago, and Salt Lake City to help my brother move. 2000/2001 were particularly hard years for me so the events of 2002 were definitely a blessing. Before the year's over I plan to move into a new place, sign up for school for the first time in 2 years and record some demos I've been working on forever. What about you?

2002 was stressful for me... I would elaborate, but it's much too personal to post here. However, I am looking forward to a bright future and for great things to come in 2003. Everything is a little scary right now, but it seems to be working out well and I think everything will be a-okay.

This year was mad, but great fun. I moved to a new country, started a new job, got married, saw lots of my old friends getting married, released a few games, took on the task of moderating Prince.org, saw Prince live in London, met up with some Orgers in London, started driving lessons, and tomorrow I'm going to get very drunk with some friends from Ireland who are visiting us. And it's only October
The real highlight will GTA Vice City being released in a few weeks. Yes, it's more important than my wedding, I admit it!

2002...Hmmm...
Went from having my own place with a person I loved ALOT to finding out they were cheating on me. Now I live with my lil' sister. It's tough not having your own place but I look at what I lost and what I gained is worth alot more...wisdom. I went from being very hurt at the begining of the year to hurting alot of people I care about. I was starting to turn in2 the person that hurt me so much. :O Now I sit and look back at my mistakes and I'm ready to change for the better. So I guess I'll try to be a better person in the future for myself and the people I love. I also got to see Prince in concert after 18yrs.

What were some of your struggles
I think my biggest struggle was getting over a car accident that totalled the car...I hurt my neck really bad, but I am happy to be alive. What were the highlights? The highlight would have to be the Celebration at Paisley Park. 7 concerts in 7 days with Prince in his park. I got to meet some of the most wonderful people ever! It became apparent to me that every person who had a smile on their face was a part of the org. I also got to spend time with some very, very special long-time friends. Gemini, 7Kisses4u, and EverlastingNow What do you hope to accomplish before the year's over? I've been in college the past few years, and December 18th (hopefully sooner) will be my last day! I will be done! What are your hopes and plans for next year? I hope to get a job in the field of computer programming, and move into a place of my own.

my year???
hmmm...let's see...it was the beginning of a new job, so I was still learning the place and equipment and getting used to the clients. I managed to ctreat a home based studio that could be good enough to come up with a professional sound. There's not much time left till next year, but I'm hoping to start and finish working on a playback for a whole show/act. Next year? well, who knows? I just hope things will be good/better.

2002 has been a big year for me! Big years tend to come in fours.
It started off the first half living with my brother and Indigo. It was fantastic! We got to stay up until ridiculous hours watching movies or X-Files. I also got the chance to go on some road trips (Florida, New York) etc. The highlight was undoubtedly the Celebration, when I got to meet so many of you wonderful people and was blown away by 7 great shows. Then in July, my bro helped me move out to Utah for graduate school. It was an emotional move, as I was both excited and nervous about the prospects of living 1,700 miles from home and starting school again after a year off. Fortunately, I befriended some great people here and have a wonderful house. Times have been busy and sometimes rough, but I have managed to survive it and I love it here. Great thread!

My Year
The brightest thing is that I quit my corporate job which I HATED, spent 5 months working my ass off and now am about to start the job I reaaallly wanted to have, much less pay-much more personal satisfaction I attended the best celebration of my life and met some great people who've really brightened my world... I got to travel a bit...Vegas and Dallas (for some Rio love!) One of my best friends and his awesome lady are getting married this weekend hmmm, those are the bright spots so far...

after reading this post for the first time at 3 in the afternoon I have literally spent the rest of my day thinking about the past year. After doing this I have realized that damn...some things have got to be different in some sort of way. So my friends I am going on hiatus, I will return do not know when but I will. It is for my own good. So I must be off, but bet your asses I will be back. Peace and love to you all.

The best ever, I think. I met so many friends, graduated from college, fell madly/deeply in love for the first time in my life. I used to be really down on life. I knew for a fact that it sucked and was resigned to just getting through it. From this year on, I'm not so sure about that outlook. Things are looking up
