When I first look at her I see her turning clockwise and then, after I scroll down a bit to read the explanation, she turns counterclockwise.

It hurts my eyes a bit.

oh I guess the image wasn't spinning cause I wasn't using my computer to look at it.
The image is exclusively only spinning clockwise for me now that Im on my computer.

Yep, you can change it by looking out of your peripheral vision, the easiest way is just to look at the bottom of the screen while the lady is spinning at the top. If you flick your eyes up, she stops and goes the other way.
