i am so mad right now!!!

my mother went to michigan to my sisters house who passed away last thanksgiving. she was to bring jill's furniture back here to the store to sell instead of having an estate sale... she had originally rented a 28 foot truck to be loaded by friday morning and drive it back to kansas where we are located..



when she arrived at the house this morning, she found that everything of any PERSONAL value was gone! there is nothing in that house aside from the furniture. everything is GONE anything that would have gone to any of her family has been taken by her 'friends' so that THEY have something to remember her by - which is fine and understandable, some of these people have only known her a few short years, others have known her for many - BUT NOONE has known her like we have!!!! and now i have NOTHING to remember her by at all....

we were told all along that nothing was being taken out of the house and that things would be the way they were until we got there - thinking that would be sometime in the spring, here we are earlier than thought, and everything is gone

i KNOW its not about the "stuff" and that that wont bring my sister back.... but i would have liked to have SOMETHING of hers around to remind me of her and mind you, when asked what i WOULD have wanted from the house, i gave the same answer each time, i asked for her Bible, and something of hers that really had something that reminded us of her.... i didnt think i was asking for much at all....


on top of THAT, i have not been at that funeral, or this trip my mom is on now because i am here watching this stupid store - I AM SO PISSED OFF RIGHT NOW!!!!


i have the emails of all the women involved, all of her 'friends', and i am seriously thinking of sending them an email thanking them from the bottom of my heart for thinking of her family and saving back SOMETHING for us as well....


i cannot stop crying.....

omg I am so so sorry naked, I dont know what to say..

My family are going through something similar and it is involving solicitors and court hearings, after the death of my Grandparents last year.

I can only give you a big and hoping the friends will see sense and return the belongings to you..

I'm so sorry that this is happening and I wish I could you until your tears stopped.

I hope that something can be done so that these "friends" are made to give your family back what is not theirs.

OMGOSH to I relate. This is the battle with me and my brother. He was so selfish with my moms things as if he was her only child. It was UGLY.

oh my god, email her friends ASAP. they had NO right to do that. if that was my sister...

Personally, I like how you stated the e-mail you would like to send, and I'd send it. Guilty can work wonders sometimes. Did she have a will of any sorts?

i can see exactly how it happened... one by one things were let go to special people its not that i dont want them to have something of hers... its just that i wish they would have thought of jill's family's feelings as well...

she found out about the breast cancer, within 9 months it was in her brain and was distorting her thoughts... a month and a half later she was gone

HOLY SHIT, I JUST ANSWERED MY ORIGINAL QUESTION!!!! i've never done that before... i asked in the beginning 'were the memories enough?'

i guess they are... i have a lot of them, and they are good.... for that, i am lucky

naked it's an efed up situation. I hope you at least have pictures of her to put up or that you already have up to see on a daily basis. Also pray a lot I'm sure God will help you.
