Gordon Ramsey Fan/Hate club

Some people love him (yes u Jami giggle) SOme people hate him. He has a foul mouth and an even worse temper rolleyes
I have worked in Hospitality for over 11 years, and personally if he was my Boss I would have beaten his ass by now (or at least given him a frypan to the head)nod and I have worked with some grumpy ass Chefs.
Yet in some instances he's actually kinda likeable shrug
So, what do u think? Or do u really just not care lol

I think sometimes he can be a little overbearing but he's right almost all of the time on the things he says and does. It gets me when people's resteraunts who are 'in the shit' as he may well put it have a go at him for trying to change their resteraunts for the better. I like Gordon Ramsey immensley and have a lot of respect for him.

That right there is a very common Chef expression, even here in Aus. I used to hear it all the time in the kitchens lol

I don't like him, I'm sure he probably is a very gifted cheif but just because he is in no way justifies his belligerent, vicious, inability to talk to people. And I don't giveadamn how good a cook he is, it would've been a fight to the death a looong time ago, anybody like that doesn't deserve to live. tombstone like I said, I don't like him AT ALL.

He's just plain mean, and for no good reason.
He may be very good at what he does but that's no justification for being an asshole.

I did not like him when I tried to watch him in the US on Hell's Kitchen.

Here in the UK we watch Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares and I kind of like him on there. He usually shows more of his softer compassionate side.
He has a lot of passion for what he does, not sure why he has to say the F word so much though.

I don't imagine his food is as good as it could be if he were a person that showed fellow humans respect

I know I would not enjoy the food as much because of the type of energy he puts out

can you imagine how he must feel inside about things with the way he projects his nasty thoughts out towards others

ill

I sort of had the same perception of him from the little bit of Hell's Kitchen that I watched. We watch Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmare's. On this show he goes into places that need serious help. He tells them what they need to do, he does a lot of work himself. On one of the shows he helped a few of the troubled boys out and gave them a good positive talk about where he came from and how he got to where he is now. On another show when he went back to the place and saw that it had closed because they did not do what he told them they needed to do to survive, he found one of the employees that gave up her life to work at the place that closed and he employed her himself. He does do good things, he is usually just portrayed as a tough guy to boost the ratings I think.

Great on Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares, where they actually deserve what's coming to them.

Terrible on Hell's Kitchen, where they don't.

I love how "Fuckin' hell" sounds like "Fuckin' out" when it comes out of his mouth.

I have people in my life at this time that I just can not spend time with because they are in a very icky place - their actions and words are just filled with negitive ooze and I refuse to engage with that type of person and there would be NO way I would eat food prepared by such nastyness shake

several years back I was surrounded by people like but now it's just one or two people who are family that I only deal with on a limited basis. my brother is like that, he's a pretty cool person but when he gets pissed, angry or in a mood, he's toxic and the shit that comes out of his mouth.

Ya know it amazes me how people don't seem to realize or understand that the most deadliest weapon is your tongue. once you've said something to a person you cannot erase or take it back. Of course you say I’m sorry and you’re forgiven but still. IMO realizing there are people who don't believe so.
