On the upside, its controls are being compared to Excite Truck (for Wii)! This is awesome news cuz excite truck was fukin amazing! Best racer Nintendo has made since F-Zero GX on GameCube!

It just dosen't sell cuz it dosen't have Mario in it..

if the price is good, i'll buy it.

On Mario Kart tho this game will rule, but that damned wheel looks rather small! And it would be just weird using it when your racing on a motorbike

I remember it getting quite slated and kind of dismissed it! Second to F-Zero is a bold claim because that game is truely amazing. Even now a few years old it can still hold itself against new titles today.

Mariokart, unfortunately, is one of the few games that has never excited me the way it seems to have nearly everyone else on the planet!!! However I do enjoy playing games on my Wii, and think that the online racing will improve the whole package.

Lets just hope that the programmers have finally managed to get the cpu A.I. balanced for once, instead of the frustrations caused through blatant cheating!

I bought Excite Truck on the Wii release day and I have to agree - the gameplay is AWESOME!!!! I like it A LOT and if Mario Kart has similar gameplay, I think it's going to be incredible!!!!

Excellent! Thank you so much for your advice. I started feeling dubious with the initial Wii release line up as I found that most of the games seemed to suffer teething problems regarding the accuracy and sensitivity for the remote and chuck!

I remember reading reviews that all seemed to mention that Excite-truck was so hectic and fast (Perfect - just how I like my games to be), that the actual sensitvity of the remote in relation to how your truck responds and reacts, you never feel fully in control (Not how I like my games).

It definitely seems well worth trying it out for myself! Thanks again.
