Just a regular bloke. Why is this thread-worthy? Well, I thought about the whole org thing and was considering how I occasionally call him grumpy, a spoil-sport, party-pooper and the like and it struck me, he's what I would be like if I weren't an orger, just a regular English bloke with some common sense.

Do you think we go too far here sometimes? Pre-org the idea of posting a picture of my ass crack on the internet would have been ridiculous. I almost certainly wouldn't have posted a picture of my wife in a bikini. I might hang shit on JD sometimes but I'm starting to see him as a reality check of sorts. I have a lot of fun here, don't get me wrong, and I'm all for not having hang-ups, but still, there are times I look back on threads and wonder, looking at how I'd interact with people in 'real life', what on earth I was thinking (just because it's the internet).

Do you ever regret posts you make? Pictures? Interactions with other orgers?

Do you think GD has gone too far and needs to be reigned back in?

I think I'll be heading for the retreat in Chachoengsao and eating 2 meals a day sooner rather than later.

Seems I'm alone in this.

I love JD, IRL he is a cracking laugh and we get on really well, he has a great sense of humour.
However sometimes on here i do feel that some of his posts are maybe not as kind as they could be. Sometimes it is not what you say its how you say it.
As i said though, i have met the guy and so when i see those i know that behind it there is no cruel sentiment its just JD

hmm.. I thought this was a JD appreciation thread.

JD is top in my book. He floats my boat, one of my bestest friends. A truly special person I am so glad I know and love.

Some ppl here just don't get his humour and presume he is grumpy, but if you really know him, you will know he is not a grumpy bum at all.

His posts are ridiculously twatty yet clever. Whereas you go on for paragraphs after paragraph of carefully constructed sentences which people can barely digest in one sitting, because they are just that brilliant, JD's approach is never to let flowery words and long sentences, which he is more than capable of using, muddle a good insult.
