It's rarely the exact same shade twice, but always lovely. If you mean products, I use Biosilk's silk therapy every day for a nice shine and to protect my hair from blowdrying. Once in a while I'll use a root boost to get a bit more volume, but that's pretty rare these days. I was wondering how you got it so straight and shiny a-ha! Yeah, my hair is naturally very straight and very fine. All I do is add a little of the biosilk and blowdry with a big round brush to get the nice round bob shape. |

Do you let Sugar Girl sleep in your bed?

Absolutely. But as she is still kinda a teenager, sometimes she's all cuddly and sometimes she's up playing all night. She used to paw at and bite my feet in the night, but she's mostly over that now. When it's particularly cold, she cuddles up right under the covers with me. |

And poor kitty, I just remembered you did not have heating for quite some time. You DO need kitty under the covers then.

Cat hair will be a part of my life forever, I have accepted that. And it's not like dog hair; it doesn't stink. And the heat in my new apartment is GREAT. But I don't have a radiator in my bedroom and my bed is immediately below a window, so when it's REALLY cold out (as it has been recently) it still gets a bit chilly in the bedroom. |

What is this guy like? Do tell! We have much more in common than this last guy, he's 34, runs a library, writes a newspaper column and is running for municipal court judge in his town. We have quite similar taste in books and tv and movies and such and he seems like an incredibly nice guy so far. I'm looking forward to this one. We'll see... |

What I've always thought from CarrieMpls's posts is that she would be the PERFECT character for a situational comedy devloped for television...not to mention, I'm sure we're all in agreement that she already comes with iconic, "signature hair"! (Could you picture what would happen if CarrieMpls as a tv character changed her hair??? Nationwide Nielson ratings HELL would break loose )
...so Miss Carrie, I haveta ask, who are your favorite female sitcom characters, maybe one from a vintage show, and one from a contemporary show...?

Oooh! Oooh! Indeed!
And she'd have like a multitude of quirky gay friends. And a talking cat. And she'd stomp around in cute wooly hats in winter and always have the right purse. She'd be behind a coffee counter, handing out coffee and one liners. And she'd be like the girl everyone thinks of 'no way she is still single in real life!' Now all we need is a shtick. Most comedies have a simple storyline. Except Friends and that Seinfeld.

...so Miss Carrie, I haveta ask, who are your favorite female sitcom characters, maybe one from a vintage show, and one from a contemporary show...? First off, that's so flattering! Thanks! Sadly, I really don't think I'm very funny, so they'd have to beef-up the show with every other character being hilarious. Some of my all-time favorite female tv characters (strictly sit-com) include Pheobe from Friends, Natalie and Tootie from the Facts of Life, Denise was always the COOLEST on the Cosby Show, Carrie from Sex and the City and Karen from Will and Grace (in fact, that's still who I wanna be when I grow up). If we expand to dramas, I simply LOVE both Ruth and Claire from Six Feet Under. |
