Carrie Fisher--Eddie Fisher & Debbie Reynolds Jane Fonda--Henry Fonda Ben Stiller--Jerry Stiller Gwyneth Paltrow--Blythe Danner Lenny Kravitz--Roxy Roker Mya Rudolph--Minnie Ripperton Sean Lennon--just kidding! LOL! Otherwise, great additions! I forgot about Carrie Fisher with the whole Star Wars fame. And, not too many people know that Mya Rudolph is Minnie Ripperton's daughter. Ben Stiller is also the son of Anne Meara, comediane/actress/writer. That one's been covered Anx I'm firmly planted in denial

The same goes with Kate Hudson and Goldie Hawn. That's like saying Anderson Cooper is more famous than Gloria Vanderbilt. An indisputable example would be someone like Kobe Bryant. [Edited 1/28/08 20:01pm] Kate Hudson is just as famous as Goldie if not moreso. For a very long time Goldie was famous for being Goldie. Kate is more known for her movies. I completely disagree. Goldie is a pop culture icon in the world of Hollyywood celluloid and has quietly been a respected force in that world since the 1960's. Wavy blond mane, rambuctous giggles & all. Granted, in the last 15 years, the general population is probably more familiar with Goldie's philanthropic work. Since the mid 80's she's not a fixture on the celeb scene as we know these days, with media reporting the fart intervals of every star as if it were the local weather report...and these days her industry peers are more accustomed to seeing her flex her muscles in film developement and producing instead of being in front of a camera. But she is in her 60's for crying out loud. There are very few actresses in Tintsletown who start work in their early 20's and work consistently in mass theatre movie releases beyond age 45.We haven't heard anything from her for a long time, but considering she started hip and indie in the 60's and transformed into a comedy megastar for about 20 years (during the 70's & 80's), I would say Goldie has had an excellent run, it is the daughter working towards acheiving her mom's stature in Hollywood. Though many of us are probably too young to remember her work, make no mistake, Goldie Hawn was the "It" girl of her generation during her 20's, and later personified the Hollywood actress archtype of the loveable but flawed quirky blond that enabled her daughter to find success that abovementioned niche, long after Mommy won an Oscar and stopped doinf fahion magazine spreads, & making the party scenes at Regine's and Studio 54. It is precisely BECAUSE of Goldie's widespread commercial successes over 20 years as a bankable star for Hollywood studios, that paved the way for Kate to carry on her mother's creative foosteps...and pretty much in the same genres that her mother used to work in. ...you know... it actually took for her to get several movies under her belt before Kate Hudson stopped signing autographs with the tag line "Goldie's Kid" in parentheses

He was also a game show host: Nicholas Clooney (born January 13, 1934) is an American television journalist, anchorman, game show and American Movie Classics host, as well as a politician from the state of Kentucky. He is the brother of singer Rosemary Clooney, and the father of actor/film director George Clooney.
