I've heard really good things about it from folks I know who've seen it. It's a must see as soon as it comes on DirecTV.

Emil Hirsch does a great job in the role as well ...

Amazing movie and work, not only is Penn on the best at acting, he is one of the best directors too. The film was perfect, Penn did all the right things with his methods of directing and the film is shot amazing. No bullshit hollywood sets, Sean had emile suffering in the real elements (how else can you know the experience?), and the cool thing to about Sean is the fact that he would do things first to show emile. Like once scene in the "rapids" where emile really didnt know how to, and was worried since it was the real deal, Sean said i'll do it first, and he did. "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F
