Have You Ever Caught Your Child... ...jerking off?
Or been caught as a child? My aunt is raising my cousin's son. She's 77 years old, so myself and my other male cousins try and help out as much as possible where both she and he are concerned. The other night he needed some school supplies for a project and I picked them up and brought them by, as she doesn't drive anymore. I walked in his room (he didn't have the door closed quite all the way) and he was definitely jerking one out. I dropped the supplies on his bed, turned around and immediately walked out. I've never caught my son or my daughter but I was 11 when I first started. I got caught once myself as a kid and I didn't care. I would never say anything to the kids if I caught one of them: I rather have them practicing at home then out there actually indulging. | |

The next time you catch him masturbating, don't turn around and leave the room... I would recommend gently getting his attention and telling him that what he's doing is perfectly normal and that it's a healthy part of life. Go out of your way to make sure that he knows he's not doing anything wrong - you don't want him to feel ashamed. Then, simply exit the room and make sure you close the door so that he can finish.
