A very good friend summed up alot of what I have been going through with women. Frankly, she said in hanging with me for a weekend this past summer she could really see how hard it would be to actually BE with me because of the attention I get in public. She said the reactions I get from men and women would/could easily cause my girlfriend/significant other to have insecurities in being with me. She went on to mention that I handle all the gawking and stares very well. I told her I was used to it and don't really pay it any mind. I have been six foot seven and built this way for 23 years now. I didn't build my body for any reason beyond ATHLETICS. If I had never gotten a basketball scholarship; I would never have even fathomed to lift a weight at all.

What came afterwards was all a bonus! Choosing to build my body enhanced not only my basketball game, but severely swung my "Shy Pendulum" in the extreme opposite direction. Confidence came to the forefront, but I don't exploit it. It can be more of a curse than a gift if you ask me....but a curse I have thoroughly enjoyed.

sometimes i am blind to psychological violence but i've never tolerated even the hint of physical violence from a partner - i know the difference between someone who likes to play rough and someone who has problems managing their anger, and i can deal with the former but not the latter. the rough scary unstable types might be hot to look at, but getting myself involved in that insanity is a total turn off to me.

I wouldn't say dated but... I DID have a booty call and an e-love that both scared me on separate times. One claimed that he filmed our sex and the camera man was in the closet. At the time, I REALLY wasn't feelin' that one bit. I wasn't ready to be secretly taped fucking some big dude.
The second guy was the one who scared me the most. He kept talking about how he was an assassin and killed people and blew up blocks and what he trained in combat wise. I almost felt like someday if I pissed him off, I'd be another disposable hit. I found a way FAST to get rid of him. Thank God. He got back with his ex and according to my first ex (cause it's a love shape situation) she went crazy with the stuff he told her. She tried to kill herself over it. Not saying some guy would cause me to end my life and deny the world my writing talents, but, people can have a way with words, you know? Powerful shit.

Just thank God that my current boyfriend isn't like that. He's so gentle and caring and sensitive (and a chocolate lover..LOL) that it's like being with a big giant teddy bear with a sexy soul-patch on his face. He has the cutest accent and the most wonderful personality in the world. I guess he can scare people with his looks, though. He's kinda tall ( 6 feet, 2 inches) and sometimes he gets a blank look on his face that looks a little mean. But he's not. It's just that sometimes his mind wanders and he can't help it. I remember having to ask him about it and he kinda blushed.. silly man.
