Some shots taken while driving to work this morning.

I've been going on and on about our "storm watch" in Santa Barbara (see thread titled: Time to build my Noah's Arc!)..those mountains look just like ours, yesterday.

Hey that's not rain! smile

I remember getting caught in one of the terrible storms of 1992(?) where people were getting rescued from the roofs of their cars.

I was on the freeway toward Burbank and there were puddles up to peoples' car doors.

I had to pass through a big one and 4 cars got stuck in it while I approached! I snuck in behind behind a semi, who parted the water briefly, then it closed in behind me and I felt it push me across like I was surfing. woot!

I once remarked to a fellow Big Brother watcher, "Ya ever notice how it never seems to rain there?"

Beautiful pictures. It's been cold as heck 'round these parts for weeks, unfortunately snow don't come down here. Okay, once but it melted soon as it hit the ground.
