RAMBO Saw it last night...
Do NOT go if you cannot handle extreme violence. Stallone directed, it is his most bloody and gory movie to date. Is it necessary? I think for the point he's trying to make, yes. There's a christian missionary theme to it, but overall, it's John Rambo kickin' ass in the name of doin' what's right.. Uh... I liked it.  |

It's less jingoistic than the last two, but it's still a Republican wet dream. The ending is frickin' LAME. It comes full circle with "First Blood" but it's still unsatisfying. The New York Post had the best headline: "Ramboloney!" | |

There was this really cute trailer that ran before the film called "Son of Rambow", about two boys that are attempting to film an action film... it looks like it's going to be a hit... in the same vain as, like The Sandlot or "Stand By Me". Google it.  |
