1) A piece of furniture - $200 for a used futon/dark wood futon frame.
2) A meal at a restaurant - ugh, i spent over $100 for a birthday dinner at a totally pretentious restaurant in chicago because the person i was seeing at the time just HAD to eat there on his birthday. this was the kind of place that had IV bags on the wall as DECORATION, and they bring you a plate of cotton candy when they bring you the check. what the hell kind of crack den gives you cotton candy with your damn check?!? anyway, i kissed $100 goodbye that night, and there were just two of us on the bill. if it was a good dinner, a nice place, or someone i were still seeing, i guess it might have been worth it. 3) A jacket/coat - i think i spent close to $200 on my most recent winter coat, and i spent $125ish on a sports jacket not long ago. 4) A piece of art or print - people have always given me art, so i've barely ever bought anything. i did buy a pair of little paintings for my best friend and her fiancee for christmas, and that came to about $150. 5) A pair of shoes - around $50. i'm sooooper cheap about shoes. i can usually find good deals. 6) A piece of jewelry - $0. i don't wear jewelry. 7) A television - i've had the same TV for 12 years and it was a christmas present from my mom. i don't think i've ever bought a TV in my life. What's the most you've ever spent on yourself on:
I guess my couch, it was about $800 or so I think. I forget how much my bed was. Actually my mattress was $1100 1) A piece of furniture 2) A meal at a restaurant Just for my portion (not the total meal) I'm guessing $60-80 @ the most, & those are on rare occasions...
3) A jacket/coat less than $400...
4) A piece of art or print less than $200 BUT there's a piece I'm waiting to get that's out of print now, the lowest I've seen it for is damn near $800 5) A pair of shoes as much as I love shoes, less than $300. Actually probably less than $200 really - I've tried pairs that were over $200 (ordered them) but sent them back b/c they didn't work. I was willing to spend it but didn't. There's not a pair in my closet that's over $200 I don't believe...
6) A piece of jewelry not into jewelery, I mostly just wear earrings. So less than $100 easily...
7) A television about $300 I'm hella cheap, but I'd rather have something saved than the latest shit . [Edited 1/23/08 18:21pm] I never met you, but I LOVE you & I will forever!! Thank you for being YOU - my little Princey, the best to EVER do it

1) A piece of furniture $200 for a futon. I haven't had a chance to get really nice furniture. I'm thinking about it with my tax money.
2) A meal at a restaurant $25 at a Japanese restaurant. Well worth it. 3) A jacket/coat $300. A black leather winter coat that I wore for a little over a year. It was not flattering on me at all. I still have it. I might break it out. 4) A piece of art or print $90 on a big print of a leopard. I got it through Home Interiors. Is that still considered art? 5) A pair of shoes $60 for a pair of Jessica Simpson pastel plaid platforms which I have yet to wear. They're not comfortable at all. 6) A piece of jewelry $300 for a aquamarine ring 7) A television $150 for a 25 inch tv that was the floor model. I've had it for 8 years now with no problems. I'm kind of a cheap ass. Shake it til ya make it

What's the most you've ever spent on yourself on:
1) A piece of furniture -- My gargantuan sleeper sofa cost more than $1,000, I'm sure. Don't recall how much. It was THAT long ago... 2) A meal at a restaurant -- 3) A jacket/coat -- I doubt I've paid more than $100 for most of my coats. I shop and catch sales... 4) A piece of art or print -- I spent about $80 on a nice piece of art and an exquisite frame. 5) A pair of shoes -- no fair. 6) A piece of jewelry -- eBay specials don't usually run more than $10. and, I rarely do jewelry, to begin with. 7) A television -- I've never bought a TV. I might before the year's over, though.
