the most horrible thing u ever seen

I think 4 me it was my mother after she died. Actually she already look like a corpse BEFORE she died because of morphine & all but when i saw the body after 3 days it was fucking Night of the Living Dead! Her face was like collapsing on itself feeling ill

Besides that, a French newspaper once published pics of corpes from massacres in Kossovo like this man with an axe in his head & another beaten 2 death & even a fuckin shot baby! God a few days after i watched this i got drunk at a party & when i came back home i fucking cried 4 one hour thinking of these pics & how people could do such things sad

Our news channels are pretty much uncensored in Germany. I have cable, so I can also watch coverage from France, Turkey, and Switzerland, which is uncensored as well. Unlike at home in the US, when they report on war stories, or anywhere in the world where there's civil unrest, they pretty much show you everything. All the bloodshed, all the burnt ,twisted, mangled, bodies. The people crying with their hands outstretched asking "why?" as they grieve over homes burnt to a crisp with dead bodies of relatives inside. I think I'm growing accustomed to seeing how much horror there is in the world, although not immune. Of all the scenarios I've seen, the horror that still chills me the most is seeing how children are affected by war. Whether it be the children of Iraq who are maimed and blown up inadvertently every day, to the child soldiers of dictator regimes in Africa, who are usually raped, brainwashed, often purposely infected with AIDS....it's looking at the pain in a child eyes as they suffer for the mistakes we adults make which constitutes the most horrrible thing I've ever seen.

there was a viewing b4 his funeral- he looked so peaceful- im so glad i have that as my last memory of him- and not the pain and suffering he went through dove

I thought this was gonna be light hearted like about a man blowing his nose straight down onto the street in front of you while you are waiting in your aunt's car in Birmingham, UK in 1983.

This is something I "saw" on the radio. It was an audio recording of a crowd watching the 1986 Challenger liftoff and subsequent disaster.

The crowd was the students of the school where Christa McAuliffe taught. You can hear the excitement in the crowd, then the roars as the shuttle takes off. There is applause and general exuberation as the shuttle is climbing.

Then, suddenly - total silence. Kids start asking, "What? What happened?" Then they all start crying and wailing.

I'm crying right now, just remembering it.

I was stationed in Germany when this happened.....I had just gotten in trouble and was prepping my stuff to go to correctional custody (don't ask!! doh! )... it took a couple of minutes to realize what had happened, and for me it completely dwarfed the self pity I'd been feeling....

....then about 9 years or so later, I was working at the University of New Orleans and unsuccessfully administered CPR to a guy who'd wrecked his car after having a massive coronary....got the last breath to the face to boot....
He was like a cock who thought the sun had risen to hear him crow.

My bad not on the train. On the platform.

My friends and I noticed he kept staring but we didnt really pay him attention. Then this woman came up to us and was like "u guys may wanna go down to the other end of the platform". I asked her why and she tells us to look at the guy. He was standing there fully erect with his hands in his sweat pants beatin his meat falloff Then two cops came downstairs and the train came. They didnt let him on tho.

I know how that feels bcuz my sister my cousin and I was on the train about a month ago and it was this old man who kept sitting next to my cousin. I swear when I tell you the train had so many empty seats on it but this mofo was practically sitting on her lap. His zipper was down and all that we was just waitin' for his ass to make a move so we could bust it.

I never saw anything real bad IRL. I've seen a couple of motorcycle accident bodies, but they were already covered. My schoolfriend killed one of them sad

On the TV the worst I've seen is parents who can't find their babies after Katrina cry parents whose babies were swept out of their arms.

Child abuse. Circumstances, with previously healthy babies, brain damaged from "shaken baby" syndrome, or head injuries and broken bones, as a result of being tossed. Even if the physical condition can be repaired, the psychological damage isn't.
CPS situations, where abuse is known, and for whatever reason the child is kept in the environment and in the obituary later down the road.
