It looks good! I guess it would be bright purple if your hair was blond. But as it is dark, it only shines in purple which is nice as well. Did the desription sayw what result you would get depending on your hair colour before?

Yea, I waited until mine were so long they got on my last nerrrrr & I had to cut them Took me 3 tries to get them layered like they were before

Oh and can someone please explain to me what's the difference between dreads and locks! Because I would have called sammij's hair dreads.

As it is vegetable based it probably isn't strong enough to bleach your hair first. I think it probably is necessary to have blond hair to get a bright purple. But it looks nice as it is now, so why bother .

The only thing I don't like about them being so long is that the longer they are, the heavier they are, the FLATTER they are (i.e. body & fullness). All that weight just pulls them down so I rarely have any fullness on the TOP of my head, but the surrounding parts are full. But I wear mine up so much I guess it doesn't matter. I love my locs to death
