Ok so it's a new year
and i have new hair

no i didn't cut the locs off but they're a new colour now!
they were supposed to be purple, but it came out a tad dark...
so i hope it'll get lighter with washing and sunshine

I had always thought they were that color baby girl

Sammi, the color shows and I can see it. (I used to be a colorist)

The base shade is violet, and after several shampoos the color will fade to a more "burgundy" color. I had the color you chose before... it always fades to red. If it was a semi, then you should see the color lighten after only two - three shampoos.

I like your new look very much.... you'll like it more in the summer! Its gonna pop a nice shade of deep red!

I quite like the darker color...it brings out your features more and makes you look very regal and elegant.


And if it fades to burgundy like paintedlady says then it look really cool and funky but not too over the top.
