What do you like best about India?
Everything really but i'd say the people, they're not behaving permanantly out of ego like us westerners. They're everything but perfect people but they don't have this ego problem, actually they're quite humble and therefore i think i'm a much better person at their contact, being able 2 b humble too. And besides they're very emotional and very, very easiliy befriend others.
Apart from that i could talk about 100 things like Nitya, the fact that they have no idea of what being on time or what a noise nuisance is, the relationship 2 reality that makes them accept that "things happen" and "things r what they r", the music, bollywood, hinduism, the fact that it's a very tolerant society compared to most others, the fact that it resists the sexual revolution so much, the women who r so beautiful, their relationship 2 animals who r allowed 2 b anywhere all the time,the fact that everything is a mess all the time, the suicidal way they drive cars and bikes, the fact that u can b a vegetarian and say u believe in God and both r perfectly normal things 2 Indians, most of the food oh so good, the way the women dress, their english accent, the way people r very polite and gentle, the weather so damn hot and shiny, the landscapes particularly Hampi, the Tibetan camps, and many other things i can't recap right now

What do you like least about India?
The fact that they're begging and trying 2 scam tourists a lot, the fact that most of the cheap hotels and almost all the toilets everywhere r really dirty, the condition of women and children which needs 2 b improved a lot, the fact that it resists the sexual revolution so much (yeah i said i liked it too but i dislike parts of it), the fact that behind all that kindness there's a violence hidden that explode here and there from time 2 time (i didn't witness it but i've read the newspapers and talked with indians about it), some of the food, the intense pollution in the big cities, their fascination 4 the western world and that's pretty much it.

I don't know? Do u think i am? What i can say is that ego is a very important thing in France and i'm really tired of that competition amongst other things. Apart from that it's like everywhere: lotsa bastards and lotsa great people.

I'm learning. I'm trying. Sometimes i am.

Because i'm a purple lamb. That honorary title comes from the fact that i have that purple t-shirt of the band Lamb and a few years back i always wore it when i was per4ming these very mystical per4mances in which i read my poems while dancers danced, musicians played, painters painted, etc... One of these nites i said "2nite i'm a purple lamb" and i wrote a poem about that and that's my contradiction perfectly: purple is the color of both Prince-like funky attitude and mysticism and a lamb is the most peaceful and sweet animal u can think of and that's how i'm trying 2 b and besides i'm vegetarian.

Love is a strong word but when she arrived and talked i immediatly had that thought: i'm gonna like this girl and i know she's gonna like me as well! It doesn't happen often 2 me 2 have this intuition but when i do i'm never wrong and we indeed kinda ran in2 each other. Now i wouldn't say any of us is in love: it's a bit early 2 use such a word. Let's call it a serious crush and see what happens next

Yes, i guess it will happen from time 2 time but i'll always come back once or twice a year 4 a vacation and i think that'll b enough. Besides, i've learned from the westerners who live there that the internet is really important in making home and ur loved ones closer despite the physical distance so that's cool.

Still, i said tolerant because it's just amazing that, despite troubles here & there, such a huge & poor country has managed 2 remain a stable democracy since 1948 considering that it's made of hindus, christians, muslims, jains, sikhs, tibetan refugees, etc... The reason is that Indian people have a "do your thing & let me do mine & everything'll b ok" policy that's just amazing. Now u can invoke the Gujarat massacre 2 prove me wrong

Besides, the caste system is slowly being wiped out by the giovernment and people in the big cities don't really care anymore. Nitya, 4 exemple, is from the higher caste & she's always saying that that whole system sucks! It probably won't b anything but a symbolic thing in maybe 50 or 70 years.
