I'm in a discussion right now about farts.
We seem to have disagreements about whether you can control the sound of a fart, and make it quiet or loud by choice.
I say it can be quiet, if you let it out slow, and loud if you push it out.

What do you say?

You can easily control the method in which the gasses are released by modifying the pressure in the abdominal area.

However this is had to do when the amount of gasses is really small (in which case you press real hard, which lovers our capability to control the bowel movement) or really big (in which case you need to fart way too much to be concerned about sound or smell)

It doesn't really matter what you ate.

You can control the loudness of a fart with little effort. The only things that make it more difficult is:
1. The position in which you are sitting or standing. Sitting cross-legged, Indian style, it is very difficult to control a fart. Likewise, doing yoga presents a challenge as well.
2. Having a shaved ass also contributes a fart being loud. A shaved ass contributes a slapping sound to a fart that is difficult to control, as opposed to the "Phhhht" sound of a fart escaping through hairy ass cheeks.
